INSYA Bangkalan Attends International Summit: Collaboration for the Future of Character Education

iaisyaichona.ac.id – One of the important issues in character development is the lack of integration of moral and ethical values into the formal education system. The current curriculum tends to focus on academic aspects, so the formation of students’ personality and character is often neglected. In fact, strong characters such as honesty, responsibility and empathy are needed to form a generation that is able to face the challenges of the times, including global issues such as environmental crises and social injustice. Without a comprehensive and structured educational approach, character values are difficult to instill consistently in students.

On the other hand, sustainable practices in education still face various obstacles, especially in terms of understanding the concept and implementation. Education for sustainable development is not only about environmental conservation, but also includes social, economic and cultural awareness. Unfortunately, many educational institutions have yet to make sustainability a core part of the learning process. Lack of teacher training, limited resources, and the absence of national standards that encourage the integration of sustainability values are the main challenges in this regard.

Therefore, we are determined based on our belief that the morals of the prophet Muhammad are noble and unequaled morals so that his morals are praised in the Qur’an. His morals do not need to be studied anymore, but the process of shaping these morals must be done and made as a joint commitment to be instilled in our students,” he said.
